This will be a very peaceful day of reconnection to oneself and the landscape. The day begins with Yoga Nidra in order to help people to ground and become present to themselves, tuning into their mind and body. The afterglow of Yoga Nidra is a effortless, mindful state. From this we will move into some gentle prana exercises, known as (Pawanmuktasana) to further heighten the awareness of the subtle energies.
Break for lunch.
Moving into the natural forest setting we will explore walking meditation and series of yogic exercises (exercises to heighten awareness through the experiencing/withdrawal/observation of contrasts.)
We will then explore tuning into forest spaces and plants and ultimately share our experiences. There will be elemental practices derived from the yoga of Falun Gung, a final yoga nidra, sharing/closing circle and informal and optional sharing over tea and chat!
It will be a highly grounded day. With a deep immersion into the self and the surrounding environment. A chance to experience outdoor/living yoga in the active state. Participants could leave at the end of the day feeling an increased awareness of their environment and the sanctuary they are able to connect within our surroundings and simply within.
